The two cable plug ends slip into the springed butterly assembly in the front just below it. The two sleeved throttle cable ends fit into a plate that is attached to the front top side with a screw. Last but not least make sure you don't over-tighten the rubber carburetor boot on the intake too much once you reinstall it and use threadlock on the boot clamp hardware to keep the carburetor boot from vibrating loose over time. Before removal make sure your fuel tap is shut off completely and after removing your airbox assembly drain the carburetor from the drain on the bottom. Yes, you'll have to remove the carburetor to do this quick fix but it's easy enough and the best reason is so you can make sure the spring throttle assembly is in good shape and better yet give your carburetor a good look over.
