Do note that the more RAM you put on the test, the longer each run will take. I would say if you can survive 20 tests at the max setting (With at least 8GB of system RAM.) I'd say you're plenty good. The test also will slow down your PC to the point where it's hard to even open normal file explorer windows (which I don't recommend you do.only have the essential OC checking programs open.CPU-Z, Real Temp (Or hardware Info), and the stress test. In regular rendering load (Mental Ray in Revit / 3DS Max), the CPU only gets to 62C on the same fan curve. For example, my 2500K on Intel Burn test will get to 84C on a hyper 212 with delta fans in push / pull. The temps on Intel Burn Test will be nothing as they will be realistically. It gets worse as you feed it more RAM (the Maximum setting). 4) Open up CoreTemp and run IBT for 6 passes on Very High (takes about 5 minutes). 2) Boot up Windows (first real test) 3) Verify OC with CPUz. The test is very brutal, even worse than Prime95 (In my opinion). My stress-test 'regime' if you will is as follows: 1) Set OC in BIOS. My machine will crash due to temps (AMD doesnt like going about 75 degrees.) I get to 78 degrees on an overclock that works out of my case (like max 55 degrees in open air) but gets hot when in my case. Just wondering about how accurate the test is for temperatures.
